Summer Missions

The summer mission program is composed of several teams and persons. It begins the end of May and runs through mid August .

Mission teams come from out-of-state to serve in North Pulaski Association. They are sponsored by a local church and minister to communities within that church’s market. The church provides meals and their housing.

Summer missionary students come for ten weeks. NPBA makes provisions for their meals and lodging. The agenda for these summer mission workers is provided by the NPBA staff. Based on community need, the students serve in a variety of ways like:

  • Vacation Bible Schools
  • Recreation
  • Backyard Bible Studies
  • Youth ministries
  • Children’s Ministries

They gain valuable  experience through hands-on experience while they offer a tremendous service to those they are privilege to minister.

Mississippi River Ministry comes under the guidelines of summer missions. This is a ministry where NPBA teams up with other associations to serve in several locations throughout North Pulaski Association. This ministry includes efforts such as:

  • Construction Projects
  • Bible Schools
  • Prayer Walks
  • Recreation Programs
